Abstrakt: The article reports that consumer confidence and spending in the U.S. was all time low in February 2009, falling more than two points to 75.7. The fall has been attributed to consumers about trying to put more savings aside or investing than in the previous months. After the $789 billion economic stimulus package last month, 69% of consumers surveyed said they felt economic conditions were getting worse and only 8% believed the economy was improving.
