Abstrakt: The article discusses a study made by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) on the effect of arthritis on adults with heart disease (HD). The study is based on the 2005 and 2007 data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS). It was found that arthritis affects the functioning ability of adults with HD including additional barriers such as arthritic pain and concerns for future joint damage. Pain management through moderate aerobics and muscle strengthening exercises is recommended.
