The article focuses on the application of South Yorkshire to the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) to become a Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) in England. The NIHR CLAHRC for South Yorkshire aims to establish a mutually beneficial partnership between the two universities in Sheffield and the surrounding National Health Service (NHS) and third sector organisations of South Yorkshire. The five-year planned activity within the CLAHRC for South Yorkshire is detailed. |
