| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a report by the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Committee for the European Region (EUR) on the progress toward measles elimination from 2005 to 2008. According to the author, the EUR uses a national, routine, 2-dose measles-containing vaccine (MCV) schedule and reports clinically diagnosed measles cases to WHO. A chart on regional coverage with 1-dose of MCV and a summary of measles supplementary immunization activities (SIA) are presented. |
