| Abstrakt: | The article presents a study which examined the tensile strength of human dentin. A tensometer was used to measure the tensile properties of dentin. Results indicate that the tensile strength of human dentin is far below its compressive strength, estimating its tensile strength to be 6,000 pounds per square inch. |
