The article discusses the technique required for the rehabilitation of edentulous patients that includes the restoration of soft and hard tissues. It states that iliac bone grafting for complete edentulous patient is a challenge, thus implant supported fixed restoration based on electroforming can replace these insufficiencies by allowing the restoration of the white and red esthetics. It mentions that several implant restorative methods have been established based on either screw retention or cementation of the prosthesis. This method helps to fabricate an esthetic and retrievable implant fixed prosthesis with the advantages of screw retention and cement retention. |
