| Abstrakt: |
This article compares theoretical and observed bending and torsion in endodontic files and other dental equipment. The use of torquemeters to measure the flexure of endodontic equipment is compared with formulas intended to predict the torsion of those tools. While the torsion of this equipment could be estimated based on formulas, the rupture moduli did not agree with the formula as applied. |
