The article provides information about the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008 (GINA) as well as its impact on public health policy and practice. It offers an overview of the provisions included in the legislation and its benefits to employees in general. In addition, it affirms that the law can encourage the use of genetic information in health treatment and promotion. |
