Abstrakt: This article discusses research in dentistry related to the development and treatment of dental caries. The article reports on the use of fluorides on dental enamel in the development of dental plaque in terms of caries regression. Epidemiological research was conducted though measuring dental debris in 12- to 16-year-old subjects from areas with and without fluoridated water sources. Information is provided on the study's results related to fluoride levels, tooth hygiene, and how the surface of a tooth affects plaque buildup.
