| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study which makes use of fluorescent antibody techniques for the serological identification of Actinomyces. Information is presented on the classification of the Actinomycetaceae family of bacteria as of January 1976, noting that Nocardia has been removed since a previous publication of the family and several genera including Arachnia, Bifidobacterium, and Bacterionema have been added. The reclassification of the organism Odontomyces viscosus as Actinomyces viscosus is also mentioned. |
