Abstrakt: Experiments performed with anesthetized dogs confirmed the earlier observation that electric stimulation of the sympathetic portion of a cut cervical vagosympathetic trunk produced a decrease in ipsilateral intrapulpal blood pressure in the maxillary canine. This depressor response persisted in adrenergically depleted or blocked dogs, but it could be reduced or abolished by intravenous administration of atropine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
