The article that the mental health community are optimistic about the economic recovery and stimulus package that includes the Medicaid funds and protections for net programs for consumers with mental illness in the U.S. The $789 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan (ARRA) supports housing, medical research and the federal Medicaid matching funds. Moreover, both the U.S. House and the Senate expect U.S. President Barack Obama to sign the bill into law on President's Day. |
