Abstrakt: The article discusses a study which examined the effect of doping with titania and calcium titanate on the microstructure and electrical properties of dielectric constant ceramic CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO). The dielectric oxide, CCTO, has been found to have high permittivity which remains stable over a wide range of temperatures and frequencies, and its high permittivity is the result of the formation of insulating layers around semiconducting grains.
