Stamm, delivered at a meeting of the U.S. National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research held at the University of Iowa, in which he discussed the ethical considerations of the rights of an individual versus the rights of a group in medical research, the ethical considerations of dental caries research using child subjects, and federal ethical guidelines relevant to dental research. |
