DePaola, delivered at a meeting of the U.S. National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research held at the University of Iowa, in which he discussed problems with proposed regulations for clinical field trials, the role of Institutional Review Boards (IRB's), and potential discrimination against minority groups when researching the effects of insufficient dental care. |
