Abstrakt:	This article reports on dental plaque and microbiological organisms in patients with cystic fibrosis. Patients with cystic fibrosis have a decreased prevalence of dental caries where normal population groups associate caries activity with Streptococcus mutans and lactobacilli. The article discusses the percents of Streptococcus mutans among cultivatable streptococci and of lactobacilli in cultivable anaerobic flora. The article also discusses supra gingival plaque, fluoride and fluoridated water, oral hygiene, and molars.
