Recommends microvascular free-tissue transfer for reconstruction of areas in the head and neck following cancerous tumor extirpation. How the technique offers both functional and cosmetic restoration; Techniques for the soft tissue reconstruction of the oral cavity and oropharynx, including use of a radial forearm free-flap to treat a tongue defect; How defects of the mandible, maxilla, palate, and other face and neck sites can be treated. |
