Abstrakt: The article focuses on a study conducted on criteria followed for hospice enrollment and whether African-American cancer patients are more likely to have preference for treatment in comparison to the American patients. It states that African-American patients are less likely than white patients to use hospice. During the study, it was observed that African-American patients with cancer are more likely than American patients to want aggressive cancer treatment.
