Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the invasive Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) disease affecting young children in Minnesota. It asserts that no doses of Hib-containing vaccine could lead to death especially among children aged less than five years. A Hib case is defined as isolation of H. influenzae from a normally sterile site in a resident of the state.
