| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses dental observations made of 92 men stationed in Antarctica during the winter of 1956-1957. Odontalgia was observed to be a common complaint, as was hypersensitivity of the cervical dentin. Contrary to expectations based on prior reports, restoration work performed under Arctic conditions held up well. |
