| Abstrakt: |
The article presents an investigation of the histogenesis and histochemistry of calcifications in the dental pulp. The former belief that pulpal calcifications resulted from such problems as irritation, trauma, or dental caries is mentioned, noting that research has revealed other causes. A comparison is also presented between pulpal calcifications and the histogenesis of human bones and teeth. |
