| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on a study concerning sex differences in tooth calcification and eruption. The participants are white children from Ohio who are enrolled in the Fels Longitudinal studies. Research methods include serial oblique-jaw x-rays. The stages of calcification, root formation, alveolar eruption, and occlusion are discussed. Data shows the age-means and average sex differences for the development of mandibular and premolar teeth. |
