| Abstrakt: |
This article discusses the results of a research study conducted to determine the effects of irradiation by x-ray on the jaws of developing mice. Odontoblasts are found to be more sensitive than ameloblasts. The histogenesis of the tooth determines the effect under equal amounts of irradiation. It is concluded that irradiation produces anomalies of the teeth, interpreted as odontomes. |
