Abstrakt: The article presents an examination of the Holocaust in Italy. The author explores the struggles that Jews living in Italy faced during the Holocaust and discusses the role that Italian Prime Minister Benito Mussolini played in their persecution. The article examines how the persecution of Jews was legitimized by the Italian government and addresses the idea that Jews experienced discrimination because they were antifascist rather than because they were Jewish. The author also discusses the behavior of Italian antifascist intellectuals under the Mussolini regime.
