Abstrakt: The article offers information on microchimerism. As stated, it refers to harboring a small number of cells that originated in another individual. Women are uniquely subject to another source of microchimerism from fetal cells acquired during pregnancy. However, microchimerism which people acquired through maternal-fetal cell transfer are likely to be with them for the long term, for better or for worse.
