Firms, to increase their innovations on international markets, employ cross-cultural innovation teams. These teams face the challenge of their members' diversity as team members might have positive and negative attitudes towards cultural diversity which influence the performance of innovation teams. This study researches the antecedents of attitudes towards cultural diversity in cross-cultural innovation teams. We find that specific personality traits are related to attitudes towards cultural diversity. The results of our study also indicate that positive attitudes towards cultural diversity increase project and innovation performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
