Occurrence of pyrrocidine and dihydroresorcylide production among Acremonium zeae populations from maize grown in different regions.

Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the occurrence of pyrrocidine and dihydroresorcylide production among Acremonium zeae populations from corn in different regions. It founds out that pyrrocidines were produced by five of 11 isolates from corn in regions with milder summers such as Illinois and Germany while 10 of 12 isolates were produced in regions with hotter summers like Iran and India.
