Abstrakt: |
The article discusses splashing in manual arc coated electrode welding and the methods to reduce it. It mentions that the intensity of splashing of metal depends on the type of electrode coating, power source and the magnitude and ratio of the parameters of the welding conditions. In order to reduce splashing, the author recommends developing systems for controlling metal transfer and using coatings for protecting the surface of the welded metal against molten metal splashes. |
