The article focuses on home energy auditing to determine the necessary house improvements to reduce the energy cost in the U.S. It provides a comprehensive discussion of the two types of house energy and system audits, the unscientific approach and the scientific approach, where, the auditor uses diagnostic equipment to register and quantify the energy failings of the house. It suggests that it is important to hire a home energy rating industry certified auditor for the assessment. INSET: DIY online audits. |
