Abstrakt: The article presents a study which examines the myotonic dystrophy type 2 (DM2) in two patients with fibromyalgia (FM). It states that myotonic dystrophies are common muscular diseases in adults which characterizes multisystem disorders with progressive muscle weakness and central nervous system symptoms. It shows that the patients both experienced muscle stiffness and difficulty in having physical exercises. It concludes that DM2 genetic testing is required to cure the patients' disease.
