The article proposes two two-stage polygraph decision models which were used to modify the psychophysiological detection of deception Zone Comparison Test (ZCT) decision rule process. Researchers reportedly found that more correct decisions and fewer no opinion (NO) decicions were produced with the application of the one-stage 3T and 3S models in the form of two-stage 3T3S models or 3S3T models. The adaptive decision approach is reported to be an effective technique for improving model utility. |
