This study is aimed at designing a program for developing the abilities of staff members in the field of teaching by using information technology in the Faculty of Educating University of Gezira-Sudan. The researchers followed in the descriptive method through four steps: first, making a list of adequacies needed for using information technology in teaching, second, a pretest for assessing the abilities of the staff, third, the list of adequacies should be included in the proposed program and executed by training sessions of 24 credit hours in 6 weeks time, and fourth, a post test is going to be measure the effects of the training program. The study revealed the following results: the proposed program proved to be highly effective in improving the level of the staff in using information technology in teaching according to Black equation from 1.6 to 2 therefore researchers are emphasizing the use and application of the proposed program for all the staff members in the different faculties in the University of Gezira.
