Abstrakt:	The article presents a study on the prevalence and predictors of skin self-examination (SSE), which serves as screening modality for melanoma prevention. It revealed that there is a need to examine the effect of the prevalence and predictors of SSE on melanoma detection rates. The study recommends to physicians to make greater efforts in increasing self-screening practices on their patients.
