The author shares his views on Archigram's cultivating the anti-establishment reputation of the 1960s youth and the ill-tempered generation gap in British architecture. He thinks there is a big difference between the soft youthquake of early 1960s Britain and the leftist atmosphere of post-1965. He recalls that when Archigram came into Cambridge school, the "establishment" were already enthusiasts of these ethos. |
