The article explores how humans viewed light in the ancient period, the period of Isaac Newton and in the theories of quantum mechanics. In the ancient period, it states that Empedocles believed that people see because the eyes sent out rays. In the Newtonian age, Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe rejected Newton's findings on light as he believes that white light is not the sum of all colors. In the quantum age, Max Planck's belief that radiation is emitted in bundles or quanta was supported by Albert Einstein. |
