| Abstrakt: |
The article features the benefits of green roofs towards energy efficiency and its three types. Garden roofs are environmentally friendly and enables stormwater management through its moisture-retention layers that store water for plants. Extensive, semi-intensive and intensive are the three types of green roofing. The main difference among these types is the depth of growth medium including 2 to 6 inches depth for extensive, 6 to 10 inches for semi-intensive and 10 inches or more for intensive. |
