The article reports on ethnic tension in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania after three white teenagers beat up and killed Luis Ramirez, an illegal immigrant from Mexico. Ramirez was beaten by Colin Walsh, Brandon Piekarsky, and Derrick Donchak. The town is divided on the matter, and numerous Latino-rights leaders have protested hearings for the defendants. |
