The article discusses the implication of women's most fundamental issues in the narrative works of Spozhmai Zaryab, a novel writer born in 1950 in Kabul, Afghanistan. According to the author, the depiction of women's issues in Zaryab's works is one of her main contributions to the establishment of women's fiction in the country. In her narrative works, Zaryab focuses on the oppression of women which reflects on her feminist endeavors and a manifestation of her reaction against suppressive authorities. |
