Abstrakt:	The article discusses the effect of imatinib mesylate treatment on leukotriene C4 synthase (LTC4S) expression and chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) activity. It states that CML patients showed an increased production of cysteinyl-LTs in vivo. Furthermore, it also notes that in vivo treatment with imanitib mesylate normalised the increased LTC4S activity seen in neutrophils. It says that imanitib mesylate is the standard choice of treatment in CML.
