Abstrakt: The article offers teaching strategies that could help promote humor to encourage language development in prekindergarten children with and without language impairments. It relates that the strategies to develop humor in prekindergarteners include providing appropriate settings like make-believe play, using silly children's literature, and scaffolding humor produced by children. Information on how to conduct these strategies is also discussed.
