The article provides information on the effort of The Heritage Fund (THF) to restore and preserve the Tibetan vernacular housing through a collaboration with Lhasa officials, carpenters and stoneman in Lhasa, China. It states that the project includes a digitized map of the historic buildings, photo and video indexes and information of the inhabitants. It also notes that the foundation aims to improve the living condition of Tibetan residents. |
