Abstrakt: The article discusses the sewage lift stations, which are necessary in most wastewater systems to raise liquids from lower elevations to higher elevations. It is said that sanitary sewer overflow (SSOs) impact the environment, thus, lift station pumping must be reliable, continual, and able to respond to varying flow demands. It is cited that the traditional contingency planning has involved backup electrical power for existing electric sewage pumps.
