The article focuses on the essential of preplanning by rehabilitation counselors to encourage individuals for preparedness when disasters come in the U.S. The Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRCs) encourage professional counselors to plan before the calamity occurred by encouraging clients to prepare their own disaster response plans and assessing their physical and emotional support systems to avoid burnout in traumatic situations. |
