The article focuses on the scientific and technological aspects of cultural heritage protection. According to the author, global increase in the importance given by various countries including Italy, France and U.S. to the protection of their cultural assets increased recently. Also, several suggestions on how to improve the traditional methods of cultural heritage protection and participation of more academic disciplines to find new concepts of protecting cultural heritage are discussed. |
