The article discusses the highlights of the European Underwater and Baromedical Society (EUBS) General Assembly held in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt on September 14, 2007. According to EUBS president Alf Brubakk, membership increased by 10 percent to an actual total of 350 members. Peter Germonpré, webmaster of the home page of the society, reports some improvements aimed at easing communication between members. Also stressed is the low financial statement of EUBS, with just £3,220 in its account. |
