Abstrakt: The article focuses on BOS, a 16-year-old Montreal-based company which produced a series of award-winning advertisements for the Quebec pharmacy chain Familiprix. The awards won by BOS include a Silver Lion at Cannes and the Best in Show award at the Marketing Awards. BOS partner Claude Carrier explains that they did not expect the recognition and were surprised by the way the campaign was received. According to Carrier, Quebecers rely more on instinct and less on lengthy market research, allowing talented staff to do their best work.
