Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a 22-year-old woman with a 4-day history of expanding ecchymoses who was previously healthy. She had no bleeding problem history and denied any constitutional symptoms, myalgias or arthralgias. The patient's last menstrual period was 2 weeks before admission. She had a normal vital sign and was afebrile on the examination. The article discusses the caterpillar envenomation that occurs after a contact with the bristles of spiny caterpillars, the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta
