The article reports on fusarium head blight (FHB) which causes considerable losses in wheat yield and grain quality. It discusses that the conventional screening for disease resistance based on five separate types of resistance is efficient. It infers that the spikelet disease severity is numbered and that the metabolic profiles were recorded using gas chromatography. |
