| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a selection of findings from the Mellon study regarding the costs incurred and time commitment made by the seven university participants in the Museum Educational Site Licensing Project (MESL). The advent of the World Wide Web, which resulted in the delivery of digital images across a campus network, is cited as a major factor in the re-evaluation of the accessibility of images. Overall time spent both by university and by cost center is also analyzed. |
