This paper is titled ONE : MORE as it discusses the work of Pierre d'Avoine Architects in relation to the model and the series — focusing on typology. It also considers the work in terms of the ideal and the contingent, and how it has evolved, more or less, through each project, and project by project, to embrace open-endedness and incompleteness which are qualities I try to imbue in the work both as a process and in its materialisation as landscape, building, interior or product.
